Here is what inspired this store:

I had been searching and driving the Tampa area to other playgroups and activities so that my children can interact with other children their same age.
I was finding that my children weren't really interested in the toys they had at our house but if the same toy was at a friend's house....they'd play all day.
I was finding that I needed to get out of the house on a daily basis or I would lose my mind.
Once my husband came home and he finished talking about his day and I finished talking about all the adorable things the kids did, I had little time or energy to discuss day to day things, like shopping, news or local events.
My oldest seems to have a slight verbal delay, possibly contributed by the fact that we spend so much time together, alone, that we understand each other in a way that words were just not needed.

We needed to get out, we needed to interact with other moms and children that have the same ideas and family values as us. We wanted to go somewhere daily that focused on imagination.

So here is what you will find when you come visit us at Peace Love Play:

Imagination stations including a grocery stand, a kitchen and a playhouse

Action toys such as cars and push toys to enhance movement skills

Monthly Cloth Diaper classes, showing and teaching the basics of using cloth diapers

Kids night out! YES.....drop your kids off on certain nights during the month and head out on the town with your significant other or friends

Think of Peace Love Play as a way to give your child the imagination and independence they need before they head off to pre-school.

This will be a sock environment....meaning all shoes are left by the door. This is due to the fact the our children (your children!) will be playing on the carpeted areas.
(Socks can be purchased from us if needed)
